The Shoot -James Villas sought a video production company to gently shift the focus of their brand towards a wider demographic. After a batch of get-to-knows and pre-production meetings, it was agreed that a suite of YouTube commercials and a social media asset pack (containing a media library of content for social posts throughout 2023) would be precisely what the company was after.

We hopped on a flight and travelled to Majorca – one of Spain’s Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean and as soon as we stepped off the plane we were met with blue skies and scorching temperatures. It was the perfect holiday destination for year-round sunshine, but our flip-flops and rubber rings would have to wait as we had a major commercial to shoot. The set was one of James Villas’ most beautiful villas, situated on the coast, which meant it was a stone’s throw away from the beach. Filming took 7 days and shooting was spread out in multiple locations to create our “WOW” moment commercial for James Villas. You could say our t-shirt tans were in full swing.

The project went so well that they ended up using one of the 30-second commercial edits on video-on-demand services. This was shown on BBC iPlayer, ITVX, and SKY on demand.

We worked with Wes and Oli on a video project, creating new ads for our brand. Their ideas were fantastic, and attention to detail on the shoot was excellent. The end result was exactly what we asked for! Would definitely recommend working with them.
