The Shoot – After the success of P.I.T within the therapy community, our original writer/director of the P.I.T training films contacted Brickoven with the idea of producing a second set of educational therapy films, diving deeper into the older material with brand new introductions and a thorough re-edit of the older material. Over the course of a day, we filmed a series of talking heads with Frank Margison in a custom built set (Actually transforming the corner of our office). We then later used this material to to create an updated version of the P.I.T films.
“A great experience working with this team- although our films are small-scale for learning psychotherapy we still filmed with high production values and the crew put everyone at ease in a new environment. Highly recommended if you want a big impact, a friendly team, and a great quality film!”
Frank Margison – MD MSc FRCPsych
Who is P.I.T? – The P.I.T team is a special intertest group formed of Manchester University lecturers, NHS Therapists and staff from Greater Manchester Mental Health. P.I.T is a type of psychological treatment that has been shown to help people with a range of different problems, such as depression, self-harm, relationship difficulties, personality disturbance and functional (or so-called “medically unexplained”) symptoms.
